Soprema is a family-owned company founded in 1908, recognized for its expertise in waterproofing and insulation materials, driven by a commitment to innovation. Over a century later, Soprema continues to develop advanced products while maintaining its family-oriented values. The company is now led by Pierre-Etienne Bindschedler, the great-grandson of the founder, and operates 101 production sites worldwide, employing over 10,452 people, with 23 R&D centers and 46 training centers in 16 countries.
Soprema's new professional home base is located on a 12-hectare site in Tongeren, Belgium, designed as a campus that unites the production facilities for waterproofing and insulation solutions with a central distribution center and office spaces. The site features striking facades made of ArcelorMittal’s Indaten® weathering steel panels, which enhance its architectural appeal while allowing it to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.
